Maaoupe Road – Stitchery

Maaoupe Road – stitchery version has been designed by Helen Stubbings of Hugs ‘n Kisses and uses her signature turned edge applique technique and HNK Applique paper and simple embroidery stitches as desired.
There are eight rows in the quilt project.

Once all rows are completed, there will be finishing instructions to  complete the quilt using a Quilt as you go method or a standard quilt top method. Requirements are given for
QAYG method.

The pattern also includes laser cut custom sets of templates – these are cut from our Applique paper and saves you printing and/or tracing and cutting your applique templates for the two rows of scallops.
EPP iron-on 1” hexies are also included in each month pattern pack along with layout guides and cutting instructions. Iron on transfers are included for all 8 panels. A General Instructions booklet will come with your first month , and a finishing/construction booklet with month 8.

The quilt is designed to be made ’scrappy’. 

The block instructions are simple – you will need a mild level of quilting experience in embrioidery, applique and english paper piecing, but we take you through every step of the way.
